3 Powerful Breakfast Smoothies

I have been drinking a smoothie every morning for the past many many months and I absolutely love it! So easy and quick to put together and drink. So what are so awesome about smoothies? Well, they are an awesome energy boost and the perfect way to start the day with fruits and veggies. 
As you can probably tell from these recipes my go to base is always 1 banana and 5-6 dates. But these two ingredients will be filling and add a natural sweetness you your smoothie. If you  want your smoothie less sweet use less dates. But lets get into the recipes and if you want a bonus recipe check out my go to morning smoothie recipe right here. These recipes will make around 1 L... well, depending on how much water you decide to put in it. 

Apple banana smoothie: 
- 1 apple cut into slices 
- 1 banana 
- 6-7 fresh pitted dates
- A handfuls of green kale
- A handful of spinach
- A handful of hemp seeds
- 1 cup // 2-3 dl water (or to desired thickness)

I never typically see smoothies with apples but I actually really like it but I will admit that it can get quite a... different taste, a bit sour, but if you add a couple of more dates than the other recipes then it will be super good!

Blueberry orange smoothie: 
- 2 handfuls of frozen or thawed blueberries
- 1 banana
- 5-6 fresh pitted dates
- The juice of 2 oranges + the pulp
- ¼ cucumber cut into slices
- A couple of handfuls of spinach

I absolutely love the combination of blueberry and orange and can we just take a moment to appreciate the this color! It is absolutely gorgeous! This is definitely my go to because it tastes so good! Feel free to add more dates if you would like it to be sweeter. 

Mango smoothie: 
- 2-3 handfuls of frozen or thawed mango 
- 1 banana
- 5-6 dates 
- A handful of thawed strawberries 
- A couple handfuls of spinach
- 1 cup// 2-3 dl water (or to desired thickness) 

I absolutely love mangos and I think that the strawberries and the mango work so well together and I really like it. It has such a nice taste and if you wanted to this would also taste so good with a handful of hemp seeds.
