Vegan Nutella Bliss Bites

Yes, you heard correctly. Vegan Nutella bliss bites. Not only are they incredibly indulgent they are also healthy, nutty and absolutely delicious. Enjoy them as treats to your next movie or as a snack on the go to boost your energy. When you taste these you will want all of them for yourself but these will definitely impress fellow humans if you choose to share. I will definitely be bringing these to the next movie night with my friends!

60g // ½ cup hazelnuts
2 tbsp. carob powder
a pinch of cinnamon
120g // ¾ cup pitted (Medjool) dates

What to do:  
Place the hazelnuts on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and roast in the oven at 200 degree Celsius // 400 degree Fahrenheit for 20 min. Remove from the oven and roll handful after handful between your hands to loosen the outer layer. The brown skin does not have to be completely removed.
Place the nuts in a blender or food processor and blend until finely chopped. Then add the carob powder and the cinnamon and blend again. Add the dates and blend until the mixture gets sticky. Roll them into balls the desired size. If not eaten straight away (which is hard) store them in the fridge.
