Life Changing Books // 3

I am back with another bunch of books that have had an impact on my life. Whether they are tiny or huge changes they have shared some kind of information that has led me to where I am today. Today I live more in the present moment, I have removed the things from my life that do not serve the absolute best for me and I have let go of shame in order to be able to dare greatly and be vulnerable. I am so grateful for the universe leading me to these amazing books filled with life changing pages. Let's get into the books:

Read part one here  and read part two here

The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer
I loved this book from the first pages! It is so well written and a great guide to understand who you are and what is not you. You are not your thoughts, instead this book help you identify exactly what your mind is; your inner roommate. "When the thoughts start rolling you don't have to go with it." It also centers around the topic of how to deal with blockages, how to let go of pain and old energies in a way that breaks down your walls so you can go far beyond. "The more you are in the being, the more you will start to feel an energy you've never felt before."

Read this if you want to understand who you really are and learn how to stop the constant noise that is your mind. This is also for you if you want to live without old energy creating blockages and ultimately be free.

Daring Greatly by Brené Brown
This book was incredibly interesting and very eye opening - especially for someone like me who does not dare leave her comfort zone. This book is all about how you need to be vulnerable in order to dare greatly and let go of shame which kills creativity, innovation, trust, engagement and productivity. But what does it mean to be vulnerable? This is one of the many questions answered in this book based on many years of research by Brené Brown behind the viral Ted Talk on the vulnerability subject. Despite the popular myth, being vulnerable is not being weak. Vulnerability is strength because you cannot dare greatly without being vulnerable. In order to grow, you need to let yourself be vulnerable.

My favorite thing from the entire book:
It is quite common to ask: 'what would you attempt do if you knew you couldn't fail?' instead a nervous Brené asked herself out loud before she entered the stage for her famous Ted talk: 'what's worth doing even if I fail?'

This book is for you who have a hard time letting go of comfort and putting yourself out there because you are afraid of the unknown or afraid to fail.

Essentialism by Greg McKeown
Essentialism is all about how to simplify your life in an effective way where you do less but better. It is mental minimalism removing all the clutter keeping you from living a life without stress, pressure, procrastination and too much energy spread out on too many projects. Essentialism is saying no and taking charge of your choices because otherwise others will do it for you - because not choosing is also a choice.
This book is life changing and centers around the most important question: what is important right now in this moment? Not what is important in an hour, or days or years, but right now. Identify the most important thing and toss everything else. If it is not a clear 'HELL YES!' then it is a no. This is the life changing magic of essentialism.

This books is for you if you are ready to change the way you live and figure out what is essential to you in order to do less but better and remove mental clutter.

How Can I Help by Ram Dass
In order to be able to help others we need to understand what the actions of helping mean and what they entails. How Can I Help is an incredible collection of stories of help and reflections upon those stories identifying what the act of helping is and isn't. I loved reading the stories and hearing the revelations other people have experienced when it comes to serving others - sometimes what we think is helping turns out to be the exact opposite and that is why this book is so interesting and important. This is a collection of memories around the act of helping and it can change your whole view of the act.

This book is for you who love the act of helping others in a beneficial way for both the helped and the helper.

A New Earth, Awakening to Your Life's Purpose by Eckhart Tolle
I have already shared an incredible book by Tolle and here comes another one. A New Earth clarifies who we are and who we are not diving into the unconscious ego and it's ability to remove focus from what actually matters. This book sheds light on our purpose in life and how to live it letting go of the pain-body and the ever wanting mindset of the ego. This book will help you to not play roles, you will discover the secret of happiness, that the ego is not personal nor is it who we are and so much more.

This book is for you if you want to uncover your life's purpose and live in peace and happiness with who you are and what is.

These are the books I have recently read that have had some kind of impact on my life in a way I can improve the way I live. If you want to know even more books be sure to check out part one and two above. Thank you for reading and I hope to see you soon!
