DIY Easy Macrame Plant Hanger


For years I have decluttered a lot and the past year I have lived with no decorations in my room besides a plant and my journals. My walls have been bare and I had only the necessities. This was absolutely amazing. To remove every single layer of my physical life that I thought I needed in order to uphold some kind of illusion of who I was has been liberating! I love the super minimalistic lifestyle, the bare walls were amazing, but I have started to want just a bit more 'life' in my room.

I started having creative ideas to draw and hang up on my walls, I started to have visions of a plant hanging in the corner above my desk and my hands were itching to start creating. So I listened. 

This is a super easy way to hang a plant - I would even go so far as to say it's the lazy person's method. And it's not that I'm a lazy person, well I might be a little bit, but I just wanted something super simple, so that's what I went for.

And all there's left to do is to hang the plant up in the ceiling with a good big hook.
